Follow the XFactorUSA twitter for up to the minute reports from today’s X Factor live auditions in Seattle. The first show is just getting underway.

Carrie blogged to her fanclub members today that she’s officially starting to record. She wants to keep writing, but TPTB have OK’s a bunch of songs that are “solid as a rock” and ready to go. She’ll be working in the studio tomorrow. She also plugged David Cook’s new album in her blog! – reporting Windmills

In this Idol press day interview with Lyndsey Parker of Yahoo Music’s Reality Rocks blog, Pia Toscano says the American Idols Live! show will be a little different than what we’ve become accustomed to in the past few years.

Pia says there will be a lot of songs and people singing together that the fans won’t expect.
