    David Archuleta’s new album was released this week by Sony Music in Taiwan and Hong Kong. They posted this article about it on their Sony BMG blog site and linked to this site from their FB page: http://www.books.com.tw/CD/activity/2012/09/sony_D.A./

    Sony Music Taiwan FB page is currently using a split cover pic for Archie’s album and the new album from Alanis Morisette.
    (Has anyone heard her album yet? I need to check that out.)

    Sony will be releasing BEGIN in Indonesia soon; they already have it out in the Philippines, Singapore and I believe in Malaysia.

    Still intrigued by what kind of deal David has with Sony Music in Asia. I’m not sure if they just distribute his albums or if he has some sort of exclusive contract with them? The version of the album being released over there does have the Sony Music imprint on it. Its a bit of a mystery but I guess whatever gets the CDs out there is all good.

    That’s not how I interpreted what she said.  She’s not going to confirm or deny anything, just like everybody else.  Her responses were pretty similar to Keith Urban’s.

    “Qualifier first: Just my opinion and I’m probably completely off-track but I think there has been a massive case of misdirection going on with AI. I just feel from comments said from July that the judges actually could be: Mariah, Urban, Pharell & Lambert, or as an outside chance: Mariah, Urban, Lambert and Miley. Time will tell!! ”

    I disagree, but I have an open mind in all things related to AI these days. I haven’t seen anything different from years past other than having a boat load of names floating around. Is this just a strong gut feeling or have you caught some weird behavior pattern?

    I think she’s making the point that they aren’t out having celebrity lifestyle dream vacations because they’ve been trying to mesh schedules. Whether that’s true or not, it’s a clever way to deflect too much prying into their personal life (“we’re busy, and when we’re not busy, we’re boring*”) without seeming unforthcoming.

    *I am not saying cabins in Canada are boring. I am saying they would appear that way to celebrity gossip rags.

    I’d much rather hear about her and those kittens anyway.  Kittens!

    I think the judges are going to be Nicki Minaj, Keith Urban, Enrique Iglesias and Mariah Carey —  no one will confirm anything until the official announcenent is made, which is why these interviews with Nicki et al are useless.

    Ironically, I think Carrie may have actually been responding to a tabloid portrayal of an afternoon she & Mike spent at his hometown lake cottage with family (including their 4 year old nephew). The UK Daily Mail sent paparazzi to Mike’s hometown to get pictures (or so a tweet from a local said – nobody was happy about it), sold the pics, and the result was your typical tabloid exaggerations about a romantic luxe vacation. They were actually up there for a family wedding IIRC, it wasn’t a getaway at all.

    On a side note the 4 year old was cropped out of most of the pictures. That was the right thing to do but also kind of hilarious because it left context out of the pictures where Mike was doing a cannonball into the lake with a really goofy look on his face :p

    It is nice to see Casey doing a live stream show and chat. But it seems like a lot of people will still be at work or just getting off from work. 
    It starts in about 45 minutes.

    I enjoyed seeing the behind the scenes vid of COAS it sure looks like a lot of work
    but it was fun watching.I believe this song will go places!!!!
