Enjoy!

Behind-the-Scenes with Kelly Clarkson

Their commercial, currently airing nationwide, was such an elaborate endeavor that chronicling everything it took to put “The Crew” together required a short-form documentary — which you can get an exclusive sneak peek of above!

Interview with David Archuleta: Staying in Tune

“Record label management wanted to make me into a person that was so different from who I had presented myself to be on Idol. People would say, ‘You don’t know who you are. You don’t know what you want to be. This is who you are.’ But I told them, ‘You know what? That’s not who I am. Regardless if that’s what will get more radio play, that’s not what I’m supposed to do. I don’t want double-meaning lyrics. I don’t want things to be taken the wrong way. Music has an impact, and as an artist I can influence the way people think, the way they feel. No one can tell me what I am and am not. I’m just going to be true to myself.’”

Injured J.R. Martinez: ‘I Could Have Done So Much Better’

“Even though … an ankle injury is something you kind of can’t control, you still get frustrated, because [Smirnoff] put some routines together that were really amazing,” Martinez told PEOPLE after the show.

“It’s kind of like that mentality you hear from guys that serve in the military,” the veteran added. “They don’t want to let the rest of their guys down. That’s what it comes down to.”

‘Glee Project’ winner Damian McGinty dishes on tonight’s ‘Mash Off’

According to McGinty, “Finn kind of [enlists Rory] to lead the New Directions in the mash-up competition, so it’s kind of like a duet between Finn and Rory.” It’s a chance for the crooning Irishman to prove himself to Finn and the New Directions before Sectionals, explains McGinty: “Rory’s getting this opportunity because… Finn said, ‘This is a good chance to give Rory a solo to get him ready for when the big time comes.’”

Great interview with David Archuleta!!  Proud of him for standing up for what he believes in.  Love those pictures, especially the first one with a more serious look.

We were at The Grove on Sunday night and Lauren fans are in for a real treat.  She commanded the stage and sounded fantastic…and this from someone who is not a Lauren fan.  We were very impressed with her and I can’t say the same for many of the artists that performed Sunday night.

I actually like Marc’s voice much better than JLo’s.  Have downloaded quite a number of his tracks – none of J’s.

  • Margaret Feeney

Has this been posted?  You can hear James singing the David C. co-write “Screaming” among other songs from his album from Street Date Radio performance.

Kris tweets a pic from the studio.

#Back in the studio today with Tim P and Ryland. The tastiest drum player around. But I might have to go show him up. (but I won’t….cuz I can’t)

#Here’s Ryland with his best drum face.

Wow!  Those pictures of David A. are really good.  Many of us would love to have his hair, eyelashes, skin, and lips.  I doubt if he will give them too us, though. lol  I love a man that won’t change his morals for fame and fortune.  I respect that young man so much.

Like most of the Idols , most of them stay good kids after the show and living their careers in a very humble way. ;)

I don’t think journey1 was putting anyone down.  She was complimenting David.

I wonder if Tim Pagnotta will produce the entire album.  I like what he did for Neon Trees, but I don’t have a lot of hope for hearing more of an r&b or soulful sound for the second album, if he’s going to be the producer.

  • Anonymous

Thanks!  You are right.  I wasn’t putting anyone down.  I was just complimenting David.  I am well aware that he isn’t the only good guy or gal around.  I was commenting on his posted interview and how he stays true to himself.

  • Anonymous

I wouldn’t count out the soulful sound just yet. Something about the Neon Trees lead singer reminds me (a little) of Robert Palmer–who was quite soulful.  Maybe Kris can tap into something like that.

  • ituneit

Kelly’s hair is really getting long!

  • tripp_ncwy

It seems more likely that Kris will have multiple producers because the past weeks he has been in the studio with producer Nolan Sipe & Ryan Petersen for about two weeks.  Sneaky Kris may have been working with others as well.

  • Anonymous

And i never said you were putting down anyone, i just pointing that is a general quality about the idols, a  beautiful one, to stay humble and true to their personalities and beliefs.
along with their charity work if a can add . :)

  • Anonymous

Happy to see Kris back in the studio and excited that Ryland is tracking the drums on some of his stuff. It would be cool if the rest of KAB got to work on some of the tracks as well.

  • Anonymous

Yes, that seems to be a common thread of most of the idols.

  • Goboywonder

Much respect to David A. and all the other Idols who remain true to him/herself in the face of TPTB trying to mold him/her to fit their one-size-fit-all formula for success. That takes a lot of grit.
Those are some every nice pictures of David in the article.

I was home sick today and managed to catch Diana DeGarmo as Angelina on Y&R. Oh boy, she’s really pushing the envelope in a good way. She’s really selling the character. If I didn’t know it was Diana, I never would have guessed it was her. Angie is a bad girl trouble maker. I couldn’t help but feel some pride watching an “idol kid” succeed. :)

I really like her style for this ‘Stronger ‘ era. She looks very pretty. :)

  • music woman

Holy moly!  His guitar playing was smoking hot!  If you are a CJ fan, make sure you watch this (studio) video.  If you are not a CJ fan, watch it — you’ll become one.
