    Scotty will be performing with Brad and TBP on 24/8 in Raleigh NC. this has been confirmed by Mike Wheless from QDR radio.

    Well, scratch my primary opener on a summer country tour expectation for Scotty if he’s still doing at least some dates with Brad. I still think it’s possible he’ll be hopping on board for some spot dates with George Strait if King George should do some shows this summer. And, maybe Scotty will become a primary opener on a fall country tour.

    Well at least now we have an explanation of Kris’s earlier tweet about the “stupid” video he just shot.  I actually think it’s kind of a fun way to announce the single–very much in keeping with Kris’s personality.

    Would it be bad for his career if he only has these few dates with Brad for the summer with some festival dates & basically goes to college with only a few dates in the fall? Basically what I’m wondering is if Scotty not touring with anyone regularly for the rest of this year would hurt his momentum right now if it happens?

    Scotty will be in North Carolina on April 12, 2012 Scotty at the North
    Carolina Azalea Festival (not california).. and on May 20 he’ll be at
    Riverbend Music Center in Cinncinatti, Oh with Brad Paisley and The Band
    Perry.

    Actually, Scotty’s show here is set for 4/13 (Friday).  According to the seating chart, it looks like there are still quite a few open sections.  The show sold out approximately 1000 seats in 24 hours but there were a lot of complaints around here about the ticket prices ($62.50/bleachers, $52.50/balcony).  4000 seats are reserved for the concert.  The rest of the bleachers (the coliseum seats just over 6000) will be blocked off.  I’m still trying to round up someone to go with me.  I paid $45 to see Dave here three years ago.   I paid $35 to see the Beach Boys in ’96.  Boy ticket prices have really gone up since then!  LOL

    I think he will be touring, its just a matter of whether he will be touring with Brad or not. He will likely tour no matter what-I think its in his best interest. As far as college, he says it will be very part-time, so a few days a week of college hopefully shouldn’t interfere with touring.

    What’s to be revealed?  I thought it was a given it was “Vision of Love”- it would be kinda silly for it not to be- it’s gotten the most buzz of the new songs- I’m not sure he needs to a video to announce it

    There has been no official announcement.  Kris has always stated that he will be the one to announce the single. 
    This may be a coordinated effort to with the official announcement, website updates & press release.

    So there’s going to be two Kris vids for me to look forward to then.

    Something involving his gig at The Mint and also one where he will reveal his new single by means of a game with friends…Awesome times ahead.
