Glee Season 6 Songs Episode 4 – The Hurt Locker

In this week’s episode, Sue schemes to throw Rachel and New Directions off of their game. She announces an “Invitational” between New Directions, The Warblers and Vocal Adrenaline, to take place a McKinley High. Kurt and Rachel panic, knowing that their team is far from being ready to perform.

Rachel tries to make a deal with Will, so that his glee club purposefully underperforms at the meet. Meanwhile, Sue is busy meddling and hypnotizes Sam into making a move on Rachel to mess her up.

Blaine offers to teach Sam and Rachel how to play piano. Kurt is finally ready to date. But Sue has other plans. She has been secretly shipping Klaine and schemes to get them back together again. Karofsky and Blaine have a major emergency at their apartment (It involves a bear. But maybe not the kind you think.)

“Bitch” by Meredith Brooks – Sung by Sue Sylvester – Sue pats herself on the back after wrecking havoc in the lives of just about everyone one in her path.

“A Thousand Miles” – by Vanessa Carlton – Sung by Rachel and Sam – After piano lessons with Blaine, Sam and Rachel decide to test out their skills as they sing “A Thousand Miles.” The performance is an homage to the original 2000 music video. Shhhh. This song is one of my guilty pleasures.

“Rock Lobster” – by B52s – Sung by Clint and Vocal Adrenaline – Vocal Adrenaline open the invitational. Lead singer, Clint is played by Max George from The Wanted.

“Whip It” – by Devo – Sung by Clint and Vocal Adrenaline – It’s a two part performance! Extra eighties new wave goodness!
