Dancing With The Stars – Brooke Burke Injured, but She Will Dance Tonight

Brooke Burke hurt her foot over the weekend, but she will be dancing tonight. From People magazine:

Burke, who was performing the jitterbug with partner Derek Hough during a camera blocking rehearsal Sunday afternoon, came down hard on her right foot while doing a front flip in the high-energy routine. She immediately applied ice to her foot to reduce swelling.

As a precaution, Burke was taken to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center Monday morning for further examination and X-rays. It was determined she has a severe bruise.

à ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã…“Sheà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã¢â€ž ¢s a little sore, but she rehearsed today and she feels ready to dance tonight,à ¢Ã¢â€š ¬  an ABC spokesperson tells PEOPLE.

    Did anyone else think it was odd that this story made the press but the whole storyline on the show about an injury revolved around Susan Lucci? Brooke’s injury wasn’t even mentioned! Very weird.
