Daily Numbers’ Thread – 11/29/16

Today’s thread is brought to you by the numbers 4, 80 and 101K

Metallica lands their 6th number one album on the charts last week with “Hardwired…to Self-Destruct”. The album is also the third largest debut of 2016 after Drake (1.04M, 852K in sales) and Beyonce (653K, 485K in sales). Bruno Mars has his biggest sales week ever, but must settle for the number 2 album. Debuting in the third spot is Miranda Lambert who got her start on the reality singing show, Nashville Star. She was also married to Voice judge Blake Shelton and helped to mentor contestants. Pentatonix drops to 4th, but they see an 80% increase in sales.
