Check out behind the scenes footage from Carrie Underwood’s video shoot for her next single, “Blown Away”!

Carrie Underwood’s label is running a contest that allows radio stations to compete to host a private world premiere party/red carpet event for her “Blown Away” video. The winning station will be the one that generates the most votes and views of the behind the scenes footage of the video, and it looks like they’ll invite 250 listeners to the red carpet premiere, which Carrie will also attend. Some stations have put up the link, which leads to this page and the behind the scenes video.

In the video, Carrie discusses the deliberate use of Wizard Of Oz imagery in the “Blown Away” video and the connections between her album cover and the video (which were shot by the same person, Randee St. Nicholas), and there’s more footage from the video not previously seen in the music video trailer. We see Carrie’s dog Penny making her video debut!

“Blown Away” goes for adds July 9th. The video premiere contest ends July 12th so the video premiere will be after that.
