The Zac Brown Band dropped by the Chris Hemsworth hosted Saturday Night Live on March 7 to perform songs from their upcoming album, Jekyll + Hyde due out April 8.
The Georgia based band kicked things off with the more typically country flavored “Homegown.” The second song, “Heavy is the Head” featured Chris Cornell on vocals and guitar, and headed straight into hard rock territory.
The band has always had a rock-influenced sound, but here they literally leave county music behind to give fans a taste of what could have been. The song definitely caught my attention.
