X Factor 3rd place finisher, confirms to Entertainment Weekly that he’ll be officially signing to Epic Records.
“I’ve dreamt about this moment my whole life,” says Rene. “And now its here. Working with L.A. Reid — ‘Big Homie’ – is a dream come true; he’s a great man,” Rene continued, referring to his X Factor mentor, who also helms the label.
He joins winner, Melanie Amaro at Epic. Marcus Canty and Astro, who finished 4th and 5th respectively, are also rumored to be signing deals at Epic, while runner-up, Josh Krajcik is reportedly headed to Syco/Columbia.
