Yahoo music caught up with X Factor winners, Alex & Sierra on the Delta Airlines Grammy Party Friday night. The duo revealed exciting news about their debut album including an impressive collaborator!
“We’re writing with John Legend tomorrow. It’s going to be amazing,” gushed Alex Kinsey — who also said that he and his professional and romantic partner, Sierra Deaton, have been working with major hitmakers Julian Bunetta, Sam Watters, and Toby Gad since they returned to L.A. on Jan. 2, and that they’ve written “about 30 songs” so far.
“We want to make sure that every single song that comes out is something we’re proud of, not just trying to rush something out,” Sierra stressed, although Alex said their album should be out on Simon Cowell’s Syco Records “no longer than four months from right now, hopefully less than that.”

With the X Factor on the brink of cancellation, due to poor ratings, wouldn’t it be ironic if the couple were the first act to break out big from the show?
Earlier this week, they tweeted a photo from the studio with Teen Wolf star, Dylan O’Brien:
