We are down to 10 acts. The first two weeks were lethal for two Over 25s, Lorna Simpson and Shelley Smith.
It’s the weekend before Halloween and around this time we usually get a Halloween special. But this year it was axed in favor of a Movie Week. To make things worse, Disco Week is a theme set for next weekend.

I’m hoping for a good show tonight. It’s my birthday and I really want some entertainment.

TOP 10 attended Thor 2 premiere in London this past week.

The judges look beautiful tonight, don’t you think?

Rough Copy – (Everything I Do) I Do It for You (Bryan Adams, Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves)

First performance of the night and there is already a choir on stage! My feed is a bit choppy right now. I think I heard some pitch issues, but I’m not sure.
Nicole: Boys, thank you! That’s the way you kick off the show!
Louis: You are like the UK version of Boyz II Men, there has to be a gap on the market for a group like this.
Sharon: You are beyond where you should be at this stage. Really well done, great song choice!
Gary: Ohh Yeah! It was a beautiful performance, well done!

Sam Callahan – All I Want Is You (U2, Contagion)

Sam has a lot of photo shoots. Shirtless and wet shirt photo shoots. The boy is ripped!
Rather obscure U2 track, hmm. Hmm, he actually sounds like Bono on this. Some weak spots, but other than that, okay.
Sharon: I liked that song and the band. What movie is this from? What a weird song choice! You sang well, but I want to see you with some more edge.
Gary: That’s why song choice is crucial, that song really exposed your weaknesses.
Nicole: Song choice is everything and I don’t want you to sing U2.
Louis: I’m happy with the song! I’ve never had a harder working contestant!

Hmmm, are the judges throwing Sam Callahan under the bus? Also #2 performance slot… Deadly combo!

Hannah Barrett – Skyfall (Adele, James Bond: Skyfall)

Hannah took Nicole to Gregg’s where she used to work.
Hannah is basically doing a karaoke version of the song. Obviously, this is nothing special.
Louis: You are born to sing! You look incredible tonight!
Sharon: Your voice is unstoppable! You look magnificent, you sang superbly!
Gary: I don’t know anybody that would beat that performance tonight! Well done!
Nicole: Hello, who does an Adele song like that? So beautiful, I’m so proud of you!

This really wasn’t as great as the judges made it to be!

Nicholas McDonald – Angel (Sarah McLachlan, City of Angels)

Sam Bailey taught him how to wash his clothes. He is also learning how to iron his clothes! Aww, mums and grandmas will love this!
Nicholas is basically heading to the final. He is Louis’ best bet to win the show. He can actually sing.
Sharon: Nicholas, remind me again, how old are you? That song gets me everytime, you sang it to perfection!
Gary: Another brilliant vocal performance! Remember you are 16 years old, celebrate that!
Nicole: Last week Lulu called you Baby Buble … You made that song justice.
Louis: I hope everyone in Scotland votes for you!

Abi Alton – Moon River (Audrey Hepburn, Breakfast at Tiffany’s)

Abi and Nicole watched the movie together.
Old song, acustic arrangement. Abi somehow gets through it. Boring. YIKES. She is definitely the weakest link in this competition.
Louis: I think you put herself back in the race!
Sharon: Abi, you sang it beautifully. But you know, you need to keep people awake. You need to show charisma!
Gary: I think we lost an artist somewhere.
Nicole: If you bring her back next week, we will come back swinging! [Abi starts crying.]

Miss Dynamix – Dreams (Gabrielle, Magnolia)

SeSe cries in front of Gary, he tells her to get off Twitter.
The performance is so-so. Not very good, but not as awful as Abi’s.
Nicole: Yeah, alright girls: I know you’ve been through a lot this week …
Louis: Spend more time in rehearsals instead of twitter!
Sharon: It wasn’t a good song, something isn’t clicking …
Gary: You came out tonight and gave your all!

Sam Bailey – My Heart Will Go On (Céline Dion, Titanic)

She is the last Over. Oh, she was a cruise ship singer in the past. And now she is going to sing a song from a movie about sinking cruise ship! And she performed this song 14 years ago on a cruise ship!
Sam delivers. Great performance. Nothing surprising about it, but well done.
Gary: Amazing! You sang that song better than Celine!
Nicole: Majestical! You are Great Britain’s Celine Dion!
Louis: That was magical and note perfect!
Sharon: I’m praying Simon is watching this show. He needs to sign you now!

Little Mix in the audience!

Kingsland Road – Oh, Pretty Woman (Roy Orbison, Pretty Woman)

Kingsland Road are back fighting! This performance should definitely get them through this week. A bit cheesy, but they made it through the performance.
Nicole: Boys, thank you so much! At times it’s a little bit cheesy, but I like it. There is something charming about you!
Louis: Most improved. A little bit lazy song choice.
Sharon: You’ve got it all, you tick all the right boxes!
Gary: Big shock to see you in the bottom 2 last week. We need you on the show!

Luke Friend – Kiss From A Rose (Seal, Batman Forever)

Jamie Stevens, X Factor’s main hairdresser gets to wash Luke’s hair! OMG!
Pretty good performance. A couple of pitch problems, but generally fine.
Sharon: You have distinctive vocal style with an edge!
Gary: That was the surprise of the night! I loved it!
Nicole: Great song choice!
Louis: You absolutely stand out from the crowd!

Caroline interviews Tamera and Abi backstage. Oh and Abi’s parents.

Tamera Foster – Listen (Beyoncé, Dreamgirls)

Queen B is Tamera’s Idol. Tamera gets a new blonde hairdo.
Pretty good, but obviously she isn’t Queen B.
Louis: OMG, you stole the show! You have the star quality! And I love the hair!
Sharon: If I had to put together the ideal young popstar, I would put together you. I would like to hear some more soul from you!
Gary: Show is called the X Factor, not stars in their eyes!
Nicole: She is 16, it’s a big song and she had the balls to take it on! Beyonce is twice her age!

FLASH VOTE!

Rankings:
Alphas: Tamera Foster, Nicholas McDonald, Rough Copy, Sam Bailey
Betas: Hannah Barrett, Luke Friend, Kingsland Road
Gammas: Abi Alton, Sam Callahan, Miss Dynamix

Gammas are bottom 2 candidates.

Anyway, the recap is done. The contestants walk on stage and Dermot tries to kill the last two minutes of voting with some questions.

The voting is now over, results after the break.

We are back. The judges join their acts on stage.

The Results:
The Girls are safe!
The Over 25’s are safe!
The Boys are safe!

Miss Dynamix lost the flash vote and will sing in the sing-off tomorrow.

The Wanted and Lady Gaga perform tomorrow night.

X Factor 2013: Miss Dynamix is the third act to face the bottom two after the flash vote in Movie Week
It was movie week on the X Factor with the finalists pickedsongs from the big screen to perform on stage on Saturday night.

And after mostly positive praise from the judges Gary Barlow, Sharon Osbourne, Louis Walsh and Nicole Scherzinger, the 10 hopefuls were crossing their fingers as they waited to find out the result of the flash vote.

With just ten minutes for the audience to vote for their favourite, eventually it was Miss Dynamix who was announced to sing for their life in Sunday night’s show.

X Factor 2013: Tamera Foster favourite to win despite Gary Barlow criticising her ‘Stars In Your Eyes’ performance of Beyoncé’s Listen
It’s week three of the X Factor, and the finalists were tasked with performing a song from the movies.

And for what seems like the umpteenth time that Beyoncé’s Listen has been performed on The X Factor, Tamera took to the stage to sing her favourite song from Dreamgirls.

After the show, Tamera, 16, became the bookies favourite to win, but not before Gary Barlow compared her performance to Stars In Your Eyes.

Judge Red: Nicole Scherzinger wears scarlet Grecian-style dress with a dipped hemline on The X Factor
She may be all about her ‘Scherzy girls’, but Nicole Scherzinger couldn’t help but steal the attention in a Sandra Mansour red satin dress with a dipped hemline on The X Factor.

Walking onto the stage, hand-in-hand with her fellow judges Gary Barlow and Sharon Osbourne, Nicole showed off her toned legs in the summery gown.

She finished off the glamorous look with vintage jeweller from Susan Caplan and Bionda Castana shoes
