It was a rough night last night with Sam Callahan, Abi Alton and Miss Dynamix giving weak performances. Miss Dynamix lost the flash vote and are in the sing-off tonight. Quite frankly, I don’t see them surviving the sing-off. Well, if Abi Alton ends up in the bottom, maybe.
Abi is definitely the worst act in the finals this year. The producers cast a quirky girl singer every year and most years the experiment ends badly. Remember Janet Devlin? Yeah. Well Abi seems to be even worse than Janet. She’s been performing badly and falling apart from week 1 of the live shows. Girl simply can’t sing to save her life and I really don’t know what the producers were thinking when they put her through to the live shows.

What else is new? According to this article (Daily Star is kinda reliable when it comes to leaked XF results.), Nicholas McDonald was the top vote getter of week 2. Get ready, Louis’ Baby Buble is on his way to the final and maybe even victory! Mums, grandmas and Scotland are behind him. Sadly, I don’t see him having a viable major label recording artist career past the winner’s single in December. Repeat of Leon Jackson and Joe McElderry. Maybe Syco is okay with that. As long as they get Tamera to the final, too.

Simon was tweeting this morning. Here is what he wrote about XF UK:

The Wanted and Lady Gaga are performing on the X Factor tonight. Gaga is doing 2 songs.

Cold open. Looong intro. Dermot O’Leary. The judges. Nicole and Sharon are both in black.

TOP 10 sing Bruno Mars’ “Locked Out of Heaven”.

THE RECAP.

The Wanted perform Show Me Love (America). Ariana Grande’s boyfriend Nathan Sykes behind the piano. I think they are singing the verses live and the chorus is maybe partly live. Kinda weird. Nathan’s mic is turned way down and he is basically the lead?

5 minute warning!

Commercial break.

The lines are now closed.

Lady Gaga is next on stage. 24 million albums and 90 million singles sold worldwide.
First, she sings “Venus“. The song premiered today on Vevo. She started the performance sitting on a chair, singing and playing acoustic guitar. Dance number. She is wearing underwear in nude color.
The second song is “Do What U Want“. She took her blonde wig off and pretends to play the piano. No R. Kelly in sight.

Oh, Gaga and Sharon Osbourne are now best friends!

Commercial break. Gaga’s new single “Do What You Want” in O2 commercial?

Miss Dynamix lost the flash vote and are in the sing-off. The other acts and the judges line up on stage.

Hannah Barrett is in the sing-off. OMG. SHOCKER!

Hannah Barrett – Read All About It pt. III (Emeli Sande)

Miss Dynamix – Don’t You Worry Child (Swedish House Mafia)

Nicole sends home Miss Dynamix.
Gary sends home Hannah Barrett.
Sharon sends home Miss Dynamix.

Miss Dynamix are going home.

Louis would have kept Hannah, too.

Little Mix and Taylor Swift perform next Sunday.

‘We showed people we can actually sing!’ Miss Dynamix are shown the exit following shock sing-off with teenager Hannah Barrett on The X Factor
It promised to be a blockbuster – and it didn’t disappoint.

Indeed, while the likes of Kingsland Road and Sam Callahan were amongst the favourites to face Miss Dynamix in the sing-off, it was teenager Hannah Barrett who drew the short straw, much to the astonishment of those in attendance.

Despite the drama, Hannah pulled out all the stops with an emotional performance of Emeli Sande’s Read All About It.

Blonde wigs, flesh coloured lingerie… and Botticelli’s Birth Of Venus: Lady Gaga is out of this world as she performs two new tracks on The X Factor
It was always going to be an outlandish affair, but by her very own attention grabbing standards Lady GaGa’s much anticipated performance on The X Factor proved to be surprisingly subdued.

The singer is currently preparing for the release of third album ARTPOP, and her appearance at the Fountain Studios in Wembley on Sunday evening was just the latest in a furious and frequently bizarre promotional campaign ahead of its release on November 8.

Following an extroverted piece of performance art in Berlin on Friday, Gaga was on the X Factor stage wearing a blonde wig and dressed in flesh coloured lingerie while she strummed the opening chords of promotional single Venus on an acoustic guitar.

Nicole Scherzinger steals the limelight in a sweeping black gown on The X Factor
With Miss Dynamix playing the waiting game backstage, Nicole Scherzinger made sure Sunday night kicked off in style as she took to the stage with her fellow judges.

Dressed in a sweeping black evening gown, the 35-year-old singer caught the eye as she made her first appearance of the night at the Fountain Studios in Wembley.

Indeed, Nicole’s dress demanded attention courtesy of a thigh length slash that showed off her shapely right leg, while its off-the-shoulder detail provided a distinctive flourish as she sashayed to her waiting chair.
