Wembley Arena
Shelley Smith, 34, van driver and mother of a 7-year old girl. Sings “Feeling Good” and sounds good. Could do without the awkward dancing. Through to bootcamp.
Jade Richards, sings Amy Winehouse’s “Back to Black”. It’s just okay. Just a short clip. Judges say there is no climax in her performances. She gets through anyway. Third year in a row.
Dolly Rockers – girl group, made it to judges’ houses a few years back. It’s a NO.
Melanie McCabe, 19. This is her 4th attempt. Sings “Titanium” by David Guetta and Sia. She hits all the notes, but lacks a bit of “oomph”. It’s good, the judges think she is sensational. Well, I guess Melanie’s stars have finally aligned. Looks like she is the chosen one of the come back kids.
Barclay Beales, 17, yodeler. Sings “What Makes You Beautiful” by One Direction. Yodeling version. He is through to bootcamp.
Luke Friend, 17. His room audition aired last Saturday. Sings Queen’s “Too Much Love Will Kill You”. Fantastic. Bootcamp. Check out the spoilers if you dare.
Tom Mann – sings “How Ya Doin'” by Little Mix. Bootcamp.
Euphoria Girls – their room audition aired last Saturday. They sing Icona Pop’s “I Love It”. It’s a mess. They get 2 yeses and 2 nos, going home.
Relley Clarke, housekeeper. Sings “Blind Faith” by Chase and Status and loses it. Judges put her through anyway.
Abi Alton – sings original song “Jigsaw”. The song is just so-so, doesn’t really show off her vocals. The judges eat it up anyway. Bootcamp.

The agony and the ecstasy: Comeback kid Melanie McCabe sails through to X Factor Boot Camp… but Dolly Rockers’ dreams are left in tatters
It was the week of the comeback kids for Sunday night’s episode of The X Factor.
And while some contestants dreams were left in tatters as they were told they wouldn’t be progressing any further in the competition, other aspiring singers saw themselves come one step closer to their hopes of worldwide super-stardom.
After auditioning on four previous occasions, Melanie McCabe was giving her X Factor dream a final shot, before calling her singing career quits.

X Factor judges off song as ‘Double Auditions’ prove pointless – unless you’ve just been dumped by Nicole Scherzinger
Week Two of The X Factor, and it was hard to know whether we should worry more about the judges’ hearing or their sanity.
The concept behind this year’s big innovation – the ‘Double Auditions’ – seems to have eluded them.
They merrily sent virtually every act through, often on the basis of Saturday’s performance or even ‘potential’ instead, with Louis Walsh in particular incapable of voting ‘No’.
