How to watch X Factor UK from outside the UK?

You can watch X Factor live, online. ITV streams the show through the ITV Player. However, ITV blocks viewers from outside of the UK. To get around that, you need to use VPN connection. If Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox is your preferred browser, install Hola extension and set them to UK server. Then open the ITV Player, make a free account and pick the right channel. The player will ask you for a ZIP code. Find an active UK ZIP code HERE. Make sure you have the cookies enabled. You can also try to find a working ITV stream on MyiPlayer.com, TVPC.com or FilmON.com.

The X Factor airs tonight at 7:30pm BST (8:30pm CEST, 2:30pm EDT, 11:30am PDT) on ITV 1 (90min).

Sharon Osbourne and the girls face the 6 Chair Challenge tonight. We are back at Wembley.

This year at the 6 Chair Challenge, the mentor of the category will be seated away from the other three mentors while picking his/hers TOP 6.

Scarlett Lee – Without You (David Guetta feat. Usher)
Sharon gave her a NO during her initial audition. This performance is just okay for me. Louis points out her confidence and good response from the audience. Simon thinks it was all over the place. The audience chants: ‘Seat!’. Sharon gives her a seat.

UK/Worldwide

USA/Worldwide

Hayley Norton – Come Together (The Beatles)
She used to be in a duo with her mother Debye. The short snippet sounded okay. Sharon says Hayley’s voice is okay, but there are lots of people in the charts with okay voices. Sharon decides not to give her a seat.

UK/Worldwide

USA/Worldwide

Sky Saron-Wermerling – I’m a Mess (Es Sheeran)
She is 19 year old student from Essex, I believe this is the first time we are seeing her. She is not the strongest singer, but not terrible either. Simon thinks she was very brave for tackling that song and says he would give her a chair. Sharon isn’t sure. She decides to give her a chair.

UK/Worldwide

USA/Worldwide

Rai-Elle – Bridge Over Troubled Water (Simon & Garfunkel)
She is going to sing it acapella. Best vocal so far, but not perfect. Still, the audience rewards her bravery. Nicole thinks she deserves a seat. Simon agrees. Sharon decides to give her a chair.

UK/Worldwide

USA/Worldwide

Holly Tandy – Edge of Glory (Lady Gaga)
Best vocal so far, by a mile. She is way more polished than Rai-Elle and they are both 16. Sharon give Holly great comments and gives her a seat immediately. No comments from the other three judges.

UK/Worldwide

USA/Worldwide

Nicole Caldwell – Praise You (Fatboy Slim)
Sharon would have sent her home in the previous round, so Nicole is definitely under pressure now. Nicole knows what she has to do and she does it. Simon says this is her best performance yet and he is right. Sharon says she is talented, but decides to send Nicole home. The audience is NOT happy. She could at least give her a chair and swap her out later.

UK/Worldwide

USA/Worldwide

Shanaya Atkinson-Jones – I Know Where I’ve Been (Hairspray)
Shanaya is not terrible, but I somehow don’t see her as an artist. She is a big voiced karaoke singer and she is relying on her sob story (She is adopted.) too much. Louis is tearful and wants to give her a seat. Sharon doesn’t feel a connection to her. Shanaya promises to follow her direction and Sharon gives her a seat. Bleh, Nicole Caldwell was better than Shanaya.

UK/Worldwide

USA/Worldwide

Elysa V – Me Too (Meghan Trainor)
What a terrible song choice. We saw one unsuccessful performance of this song in the previous round. Elysa adds a rap to her performance. Nicole loved it. Sharon says she is a great natural performer and gives her a seat.

UK/Worldwide

USA/Worldwide

The 6 chairs are now filled.

Taliah Dalorto – Let It Go (James Bay)
Pretty solid vocal. Simon would give her a chair. Sharon decides to give her a chair and send home Sky Saron-Wermerling.

UK/Worldwide

USA/Worldwide

Alisah Bonaobra – All By Myself (Celine Dion)
I’m certainly not a fan of this song choice, but Alisah delivers a great vocal performance. Nicole is on her feet. Louis would give her two seats. Sharon says she has a very dated, cabaret style. But she has a huge voice. The audience demands a seat for Alisah. Sharon decides to give her a chair. Taliah Dalorto is OUT and the audience is not happy.

UK/Worldwide

USA/Worldwide

Jenny Ball – Iris (The Goo Goo Dolls)
Jenny delivers a nice vocal, but she makes no eye contact with the judges. That connection might be a problem. Simon says Nicole Caldwell sounded better earlier and didn’t get a chair, so based on that he wouldn’t give Jenny a chair. Sharon decides to give her a chair. Shanaya Atkinson-Jones is OUT. The audience chants ‘Bring her back!’

UK/Worldwide

USA/Worldwide

Deanna Mussington – My Kind of Love (Emeli Sande)
The snippet of her performance is a bit scream-y at times, but she is still one of the best vocalists in the category. Sharon decides to give her a seat. Jenny Ball is OUT.

UK/Worldwide

USA/Worldwide

Grace Davies – Do It Better (Original Song)
Grace is once again singing an original song. She is not one of the strongest vocalists in this category, but songwriting talent is her selling point. I’m not sure about this particular song, but the judges seem to like it. Sharon gives her a standing ovation. Simon falls all over himself in his comments. The audience demands a chair for Grace. Sharon says Grace has ‘a magic, such a talent’. She decides to give her a chair. Alisah Bonaobra is OUT. The audience starts booing. The other judges have their faces in their hands. The audience is still protesting. Simon doesn’t agree with Sharon’s decision. I don’t agree either, but Sharon is the one judges that often makes weird decisions.

UK/Worldwide

USA/Worldwide

Kelsey Gill – Scars (Original Song)
The audience still demands Alisah’s return. Sharon asks them to shut up and promises to rethink her decision later. Kelsey sings an original, rather depressing song and her vocal isn’t the best. Nicole compliments her look and voice, but says it wasn’t enough for a chair. Sharon sends her home. Simon wants to put her in a group. A new girlband is in the works.

UK/Worldwide

USA/Worldwide

Georgina Panton – Diamonds (Rihanna)
Georgina delivers a solid vocal performance. Simon says it wasn’t a perfect performance, but there is something special about her. Simon thinks she deserves a chair and a place in the final. Nicole says she owns the stage. Sharon says she has a fire inside her and decides to give her a seat. Simon would swap her for Scarlett Lee or Elysa V. Elysa V is OUT.

UK/Worldwide

USA/Worldwide

The six remaining girls start hugging each other, but the audience wants Alisah back. And Sharon isn’t done. She decides to bring Alisah Bonaobra back and have a sing off with Alisah, Scarlett Lee and Rai-Elle.

Alisah returns on stage and the audience gives her a warm welcome.

Scarlett Lee – The Power of Love (Celine Dion)
She sounds a bit hoarse and is oversinging.

Rai-Elle – Break Every Chain (Jesus Culture)
Big vocal, she is fighting for her chair.

Alisah Bonaobra – Bang Bang (Jessie J, Ariana Grande and Nicki Minaj)
Alisah sings and raps like it’s a matter of life and death.

UK/Worldwide

USA/Worldwide

Sharon decides to send home Scarlett Lee. It was the most obvious decision. I wouldn’t even need a sing-off to pick between those three girls.

TOP 6 GIRLS
Alisah Bonaobra
Deanna Mussington
Georgina Panton
Grace Davies
Holly Tandy
Rai-Elle

This is it for tonight. The Six Chair Challenge continues next weekend.
