Last night, Che Chesterman ended his X Factor journey in 3rd place. The results surprised absolutely no one.

We are now down to two acts: Louisa Johnson and Reggie’N’Bollie.

According to people in the know, Louisa initially auditioned for Britain’s Got Talent 2014. Her audition was no screened – she was saved for the other show. She has a set of impressive pipes and at the age of 17, still plenty of room for growth.
Reggie’N’Bollie auditioned for Britain’s Got Talent 2015 and also didn’t make it on air. They can’t really sing – they made it all the way to the finale with rapping, shouting and the help of backing tracks. The can blow the roof off with their energetic performances, but still … they can’t sing. No matter what, I expect them to release a hot single for summer 2016.

What to expect tonight: TOP 2 will reprise their favorite performance of the series and sing their potential winner’s singles. Adele, Coldplay and One Direction will perform. Simon Cowell reportedly prepared a tribute for One Direction ahead of their hiatus.

It’s THE VOICE vs. PARTY BOYS!

Adele pre-recorded her performance a few minutes ago. She said Lauren Murray was her favorite. Heh.

The voting is still open. The judges’s entrance is nowhere near as grand as the one from last night.

Time for a recap of last night’s performances.

The X Factor finalists sing Petula Clark’s “Downtown”. Oh and Macklemore’s “Downtown”. It’s a mess. Totally under rehearsed.

Mariah Carey wishes the finalists good luck and say s not to listen to Simon. Haha.

Coldplay perform their current single “The Adventure of a Lifetime”.

“Song of the Series” round.

Reggie’N’Bollie – What Makes You Beautiful / Cheerleader (One Direction/OMI)

Reggie’N’Bollie are updating their week 2 performance. Huge production with cheerleaders. Oh, they are also doing “I Like to Move It”. I thought they were supposed to reprise only one performance?
Simon says they stepped it up tonight from yesterday. He thinks we might be in for a surprise tonight. Nick agrees. Rita points out they were supposed to only reprise one performance. Cheryl thanks Reggie’N’Bollie for being awesome.

Olly is with RnB’s family and friends.

We are back after the break and it’s time for Louisa.

Louisa Johnson – It’s a Man’s World (James Brown)

She sang this on the show just last week. How is she going to top that? Oh, she is wearing black tonight. She is giving it her all. Standing ovation from all 4 judges, Rita runs on stage.
I can’t hear what Cheryl is warbling. Simon: “That’s what is called the X Factor!” Nick says it was like nothing he had ever heard. Rita says Louisa is the winner of the X Factor.

Olly is now with Louisa’s family and friends.

Another commercial break.

And now it’s time for some One Direction love.

They finished 3rd on XF UK S7. Since then, they conquered the world and now they are back home. They are singing “Infinity” which is their next single.

They will be singing another song, but first, Simon speaks and then a video rolls: Simon, James Corden, Robbie Williams, Wayne Rooney, Danny DeVito, Little Mix, 5SoS, David Beckham and a guy crying on a football field.

Next, One Direction perform “History”. Awww.

Commercial break.

Will Ferrell talks about the history of the X Factor. He talks so seriously about the show while we watch a compilation of joke acts.

WINNER’S SINGLE ROUND!

This year’s winner’s single is Bob Dylan’s “Forever Young”.

Reggie’N’Bollie actually try to sing the song. Umm. I guess it could be worse. They get a huge choir backing them in the second part. I guess I like this version better than Bob Dylan’s so at least that’s something.
Simon says they were an absolute pleasure to work with. Reggie thanks everyone that has voted for them. Cheryl says she loves them. Rita says it was a pleasure to watch them. Nick too.

We get a video of Reggie’N’Bollie’s friends and families. They have lovely kids.

Louisa Johnson sings her version of “Forever Young”. She starts acapela and sounds heavenly. She also gets a choir. Well that’s the studio version I hope to hear.
Cheryl compliments consistent vocals. Simon says she owned tonight. Nick says she is the force of nature. Rita pleads for votes.

Video from Louisa’s friends and family.

Another recap of this weekend’s performances.

Basically, Louisa is all about screaming and Reggie’N’Bollie are all about jumping around the stage.

Commercial break.

The voting ends at 9:50pm, in 9 minutes!

NEXT: ADELE performs “HELLO”. Well, the pre-recorded performance is airing. She is calling for a Louisa victory, but says Lauren was her favorite.

This is it, the vote is now closed!

Commercial break.

We are back and it’s time for the results!
