X Factor 2015 SPOILERS! Tonight’s bootcamp contestants and song choices
Here’s a spoiler-filled look at tonight’s X Factor 2015 bootcamp as the acts remaining compete for a spot in the six chair challenge.

After last weekend’s group performances this Sunday night its time for a solo challenge.

Each act has to pick a song from a list, work on a performance and then face the judges.

This time there will be no comments from the panel or an instant yes or no, instead they’ll have to wait to find out their fate.

While they’re not singing, the acts will all be together watching the others as they each take to the stage.

Once the last hopeful has performed the judges will decide their top 15 or so acts in each of the four categories to take through to the six chair challenge and deliver their choices in a tense reveal.

She admitted it was her biggest regret of last year’s The X Factor.

Yet in Sunday night’s episode of the talent show, Cheryl Fernandez-Versini is once again torn over the fate of youth worker Monica Michael.

The 32-year-old former Girls Aloud star hit headlines when she controversially booted Monica, 25, off the show at the Six Chair Challenge stage.

Due to rugby world cup we are down to one show per week.

Last week we watched the group rounds and some contestants went home. This week is all about solo performances as the remaining acts battle to advance to the 6 chair challenge. The contestants had to pick the songs for this round from a list of songs, so don’t be surprised with repeats. In the end, the judges will pick 15 act or so per category to advance to the next round. So around 1/3 of all acts will be eliminated.

SILVERTONE: Sigma/Paloma Faith – Changing
Can the gospel girlband pull this off? Hmm, the judges don’t like this? I think they don’t want or don’t know how to turn modern, electronic song into what they do best – gospel. But acts on this show need to be able to pull off a wide range of songs.

LAUREN MURRAY: Brownstone – If You Love Me
Hmm, that song just goes nowhere?

BRODIE KELLY: Rihanna – Diamonds
Very soft and a bit boring. The judges know he is scared.

SIMON LYNCH: Roberta Flack – First Time Ever I Saw Your Face
A bit boring.

JOSH DANIEL: Jason Derulo – Want to Want Me
This is OK. Nick didn’t love the song.

SEANN MILEY MOORE: Donny Hathaway/Ray Charles – A Song For You
He is from Australia (he is half Filipino) and his dad is a banker, who wants secure future for his son. Seann has great personality and seems ready for this circus. Strong vocal. Simon says he felt like he was at his concert. I want this guy in the live shows.

ANTON STEPHANS: Donny Hathaway/Ray Charles – A Song for You
Anton was a backing vocalist for Elton John and Tina Turner. He is singing the same song as Seann before him, eek. But he is also doing a great job on it. Olly Murs is teary eyes. Judges love him.

ALIEN: Rihanna – Diamonds
These girls are hard to watch. The judges think they need help on vocals, but they are interesting.

TONATHA RAIHAN: OneRepublic – Love Runs Out
Does a good job with that song.

JOSEPH McCAUL: Macklemore & Ryan Lewis – Same Love
This guy has no performance skills.

MONICA MICHAEL: Bill Withers – Ain’t No Sunshine
Pleasant enough, but a big boring. Simon says she isn’t perfect, there is always a crack in her voice. Cheryl thinks this wasn’t a good song choice for her. The competition in the girls category is tough.

PAPASIDERO: David Guetta – Titanium
This time he is wearing black wings. He prepared an exhibition for us… In the middle he starts removing his clothes and screaming. The judges look puzzled. The undressing art failed. Nick says even Madonna had problems with his cape. Simon says he loves nutty people.

GEM OZALCIN: David Bowie – Heroes, 42 years old
He sounds terrible. He is some sort of a rocker. The judges don’t know what to make of him. Simon asks how this guy got this far.

ANDRE BATCHELOR: Dawn Penn – No, No No
He makes the judges laugh so hard. Simon again asks how this guy got this far.

CHÉ CHESTERMAN: Donny Hathaway/Ray Charles – A Song for You
Good performance, even though I don’t like his voice as much as Seann’s or Anton’s. But he is actually better than I thought. Simon says the guy has no personality and no presence.

A trio of bad performances. Bad song choices and nerves.
HAVVA REKBE: George Ezra – Budapest

JAMIE BENKERT: ELLIE GOULDING – Love Me Like You

EBRU GURSOY: One Republic – Love Runs Out

MASON NOISE: Marvin Gaye – Got To Give It Up/Mark Ronson – Uptown Funk
This guy is so full of himself. He wants to be a superstar. He is okay and the judges like him.

BUPSI: Paul Young – Every Time You Go Away
Bupsi has a chest infection and she is toning it down tonight. The judges like her, but Simon says there are better singers.

BEN CLARK: Rihanna – Stay
I’m afraid he is this years Ben Haenow/Matt Cardle. You know, a pop/rock guy with a good voice that wins it all because he is exactly what the voting public wants.

4TH POWER: David Guetta – Titanium
Uhh, this wasn’t that great. The girls know how to scream.

Day two and Nick Grimshaw is absent today.

THE FIRST KINGS: SOS Band – Just be Good to Me
Good vocal performance. Cheryl thinks their choreography was dated.

HOLLY JOHNSON: Sam Smith – Like I Can
Good voice, but Simon wants personality.

ANKUSH KHANNA: Ellie Goulding – Love Me Like You Do
Terrible.

JENNIFER PHILLIPS: Harry Nilsson – Without You
Good vocal, but boring song.

KIERA WEATHERS: Rixton – Me and My Broken Heart
Okay, but this wasn’t a great song choice.

LOUISA JOHNSON: Sam Smith – Lay Me Down
Good vocal performance.

CHLOE PAIGE: Hozier – Take Me to Church
Good vocal performance.

GIFTY LOUISE: Ben E. King – Stand by Me
The judges don’t like the arrangement.

CHARLIE BEARD: David Guetta – Without You
This was just okay. I felt the song was out of her range, but there were also some good moments.

This is it for tonight. Time for the judges to decide who advances to the next round.

Grimmy is on the line, we can see him on the monitor … he is in his pajamas.

The contestants enter the room with the judges in groups. It’s a no for the first group. But 75 acts did make it through. I hope they release a list.
