Frankie Cocozza: X Factor set me up and ‘stitched up’ Misha B with false bully claim
FRANKIE Cocozza has launched a bitter attack on The X Factor – claiming mentors have no say in the song choices and that they ‘set up’ their acts to grab headlines.

The former contestant – who left last year’s show after admitting to snorting cocaine – said mentor Gary Barlow was told which songs to choose.

He claimed the show’s ‘PR machine’ tried to portray him as a drug-addled teenager who needed rehab – even though he insists he only ever snorted one line.

And he said teen singer Misha B was ‘stitched up’ by Louis and Tulisa when they accused her of bullying.

Frankie told OK! magazine: “I feel sorry for the kids who are on that show now. I had absolutely no idea what I was getting myself into.

Kye Sones: Two-faced Chris is so tactical, he must have a big phone bill

He said the Liverpudlian wannabe was a different person off camera.

Asked why Christopher has yet to find himself in the bottom two, Kye replied: “God knows. He must have an expensive phone bill!”

Kye revealed how the Scouser shunned the rest of the hopefuls, except when a cameraman was present.

He said: “All of us have got really close and then you’ve got Chris. We’ve been a really strong group and he’s been an outsider — and that’s nothing to do with any of us lot.

Louis Walsh: Save us Simon… we need you back
X Factor judge begs mogul for return to British show

X FACTOR judge Louis Walsh has begged Simon Cowell to return and save the flagging show’s sliding ratings.

The ITV1 talent contest pulled in an average of just 7.6million viewers on Saturday night — three million down on the same show last year.

Louis, 60, urged Simon, 53 — who is in the States judging the US X Factor — to return to the UK panel, like he did with this year’s Britain’s Got Talent. Original judge Louis, who sits alongside Take That star Gary Barlow, Tulisa Contostavlos and Nicole Scherzinger, said: “If Simon did come back, he’d have the number one show.

“That’s the thing about Simon — he always wants to be number one.

“We need him in the building, he’s always fun, he keeps everybody on their toes. I wish he’d come back.”

Guest stars are better off performing on The X Factor than Strictly Come Dancing, it’s been claimed.

Stars see huge surge in gig interest following appearances on X Factor, but Strictly performances fail to make an impact.

The news comes despite Strictly’s big ratings lead over The X Factor on both Saturday and Sunday evenings.

Data from ticket vendor Seatwave reveals that recent performers on the X Factor – including Rita Ora, No Doubt , Robbie Williams and Fun. – have seen significant increases in fans searching for tickets for their gigs, after appearing on the show.

JLS saw demand increase by a huge 600% following their performance on 21st October, and Emeli Sandé was another big winner with a 336% surge in interest after she appeared on the same night.
