Things turned personal on The X Factor on Saturday night, when the normally charming Gary Barlow accused his fellow judge Tulisa of having ‘fag ash breath’.
It came to a head after Tulisa criticised Gary for the song he had chosen for his act Christopher Maloney, saying to him: ‘Gary, how many of these eighties classics are you going to let him keep destroying?’
Gary, who had clearly been contemplating his response while Tulisa spoke, then said: ”I don’t know what’s offended me more – what you said or the fag ash breath!’

But Jahmene Douglas proved he is going from strength to strength on the competition, with a stunning performance of the Fugees’ Killing Me Softly.
Following the performance, Jahmene was labelled a ‘world class’ singer by Louis Walsh, who added: ‘For me, you are the best singer in this competition by a mile – we haven’t had a UK star like you for a long time.’

The singer donned a revealing outfit on the show on Saturday which left little to the imagination.
And it appears Nicole’s clothing was a bit too much to handle for Gary Barlow who looked in the opposite direction when she took to her feet to show off her costume.

But, Nicole Scherzinger has now admitted that she doesn’t actually think that Rylan Clark can win the X Factor.
The former Pussycat Doll, who is mentoring Rylan, said that she does not believe the tanned wannabe will make it to the final.
Nicole, 34, told The Sun newspaper: ‘He just wants to give the best performance every week and prove that he is not there as a joke.’
While she has ruled out any chance of Rylan making the final she predicted that Jahmene Douglas, Ella Henderson and Union J will all be there.

ONE Direction fans dream of being swept off their feet by Harry Styles — a fantasy that became a reality for delighted youngster Ellie Houghton yesterday.
The eight-year-old was caught up in a big hug by the floppy-haired 1D heart-throb.
It happened when the five-piece boyband met a group of seriously ill children at a top London hotel.
The visit was organised by Rays Of Sunshine, which grants the wishes of seriously and terminally ill children.
And as ambassadors of the charity, One Direction were more than happy to spend an afternoon getting to know the youngsters.

Ed Sheeran has revealed that One Direction’s new single contains some of his favourite lyrics.
The singer-songwriter penned the track ‘Little Things’ when he was 17, but has given the song to One Direction for their next single release.
“The great thing about it is I wrote that song with a girl called Fiona Bevan when I was 17 and we lost the song,” Sheeran told Capital FM.
“I’ve kept in touch with Fiona, we’ve done gigs and stuff and about two months ago she sent me the tune and was like, ‘Oh, do you remember this?’
“I was like, ‘Yeah, I do remember that’, and I was in the studio with the One Direction boys at the time and I was playing it and they were like, ‘We really like that’.”
