GARY BARLOW has been lumbered with the tricky Over 25s group on The X Factor after Simon Cowell rang the judges personally and dished out their categories.
The songwriter now has the job of trying to create the first winner from the Overs category since Steve Brookstein won the first series in 2004.
Louis Walsh has got the notoriously difficult Groups category, Tulisa Contostavlos has the Girls and new judge Nicole Scherzinger has got the Boys.

Are you hanging out for a new single from 1D?
The One Direction gang plan on unleashing a new single soon, according to recent reports.
During an interview with In Demand, Louis Tomlinson said the guys had a few tracks in mind.
“We’re picking it very soon actually, very soon. There’s two or three… there’s about three songs that are good contenders,” he said.

Following their stateside success it comes as no surprise that One Direction picked up three gongs last night at the Teen Choice Awards.
The former X Factor contestants walked away with the awards for Choice Breakout Group and Choice Love Song for their Billboard Hot 100 hit What Makes You Beautiful.
Unfortunately for their US fans the boys are back in the UK and had to accept their award via a video message but they made sure to keep fans happy with an amusing message.

As a group, they’re known for their love of joking around and playing pranks on unsuspecting victims.
But now One Direction have been on the receiving end for once.

As well as the pop pairing of Malik and Edwards, two of the girls are dating members of Diversity – with Jade Thirlwall coupled with Sam Craske and Jesy Nelson romancing Jordan Banjo.
With their conflicting schedules making it a headache to spend regular time together, Nelson told DJs Jagger and Woody on Real Radio Wales: ‘We just make the effort to see each other and I actually prefer it to be honest. Because I think when you do see them it’s more special.’
