GET the popcorn ready – One Direction are filming a follow-up to their movie This Is Us.
Rumours had been doing the rounds that the world’s biggest boyband were planning a sequel to last year’s cinema hit.
But I can turn those into solid facts now that director Morgan Spurlock has confirmed the bankable band have already started filming.
And this time the boys are aiming for an Oscar for their efforts – for Best Song, not Best Actor, obvs.
Chatting exclusively at pal Mario Batali’s Vegas Uncork’d party, Spurlock said: “Yes, there will be a follow-up to This Is Us.
“At this moment Ben Winston is with the band on their world tour filming what happens.
“He worked with me and is a great producer.
“I know Simon Cowell wants the band to get awards for this and was upset when they missed out on being nominated in the music category for an Oscar on our film.
“It was a good song and I was surprised that they weren’t even considered.
“This time he will want them to try again.”

Harry Styles could have been filming an advert for a luxury shampoo brand when he took a quick dip on Wednesday.
The One Direction star was spotted cooling off in his hotel swimming pool in Rio de Janeiro, when an unmistakeable hair flick was seen.
The topless 20-year-old, whose latest inking was also visible on his hip, looked to be having a great day off with pals, including bandmate Niall Horan, also 20.

Louis Walsh is said to be resuming his judging role on The X Factor after mogul Simon Cowell reportedly negotiated his return to the hit show with ITV bosses.
The genial Irishman was initially thought to be heading for the exit as show bosses sought to freshen the panel ahead of the series eleven launch later this year.
But ITV are believed to have taken a U turn and given the green light to his eleventh consecutive year on the hit talent show.

X Factor talent scouts have today been accused of approaching exotic dancers online in a bid to persuade them to appear on the show.
Burlesque performer Coco Dubois says she received an email from an agent for the show suggesting she should appear in the next series.
In the email, the agent writes he ‘loved her image’ before asking: ‘I was wondering if you also sang?’
It then invites the full-time cabaret dancer to ‘small, invited auditions’ which are described as ‘a really great opportunity to meet producers.’
The cabaret performer, real name Joanna Woodward, took to Twitter to voice her anger at the correspondence – tweeting a picture of the email with the caption ‘Go and do one. Pah’.
In her response, she said: ‘Yes I do sing. And I’m really awesome.’
She later adds: ‘I have dedicated my life to my art form.
‘Your show has ruined the music industry, destroyed people’s lived and dreams and catapulted our TV into a reality s*** storm. So no thanks.’

The 36-year-old US socialite, who is mother to their three-month-old son Eric, told Daily Mirror that Simon was an ‘amazing’ dad and said that they definitely plan to have more children.
‘I would like one more,’ she revealed. ‘I think it will be a girl. Simon wants a girl very badly.’
Lauren added that Eric’s birth had felt like a blessing as she had believed she may not be able to have anymore children. She already has a son, Adam, who lives with her ex-husband Andrew Silverman in New York.
