Jedward are John and Edward Grimes, the double divas of Dublin from “The X Factor U.K.” Season 6. On that show, they famously pulled stunts like singing “Ghostbusters” while wearing proton packs, reciting the Titanic monologue while dressed in Britney-inspired red latex suits, and sporting coifs seemingly inspired by There’s Something About Mary. All of this infuriated Simon Cowell, of course…but such antics won the wondertwins thousands of Jedicated fans across the globe.

OLLY MURS has cemented himself as a household favourite.
But he insists he’s not everybody’s cup of tea – particularly those working in the record industry.
He feels he hasn’t received credit for having four No1 singles and selling 2.5million albums.
The singer said: “It’s just snobbery from people in the industry. They’re not into what I do because they think I didn’t come through the proper channels.

One Direction Partners Up (Again) for Toothbrush Launch
British boy band One Direction seems to go through toothbrush-licensing partners as fast as Taylor Swift (former love interest of band member Harry Styles) goes through boyfriends. But don’t worry: None of the oral-care marketers who have “exclusive” relationships with the band have cause to sing an angry breakup song.
Having put its name on Colgate Max Fresh toothpaste and toothbrushes last year, as well as on a line of musical toothbrushes from Brush Buddies last fall, One Direction will now be featured on a line of Arm & Hammer musical toothbrushes from Church & Dwight Co.
How many toothbrush-licensing directions can One Direction take? At least three. All three companies were fully informed of the limited terms of their exclusive relationships at the outset, said Mary Kean, licensing director for Global Merchandising Services, Los Angeles, which represents the band.
Colgate has exclusive global rights to feature One Direction on toothpaste and non-musical toothbrushes, Ms. Kean said. Brush Buddies has exclusive rights outside the U.S. to market One Direction toothbrushes that play the group’s songs while people (mainly young girls) brush their teeth. And Church & Dwight has exclusive rights to market similarly musical One Direction toothbrushes inside the U.S.

The 19-year-old singer contacted This Morning after catching sight of the pretty brunette’s interview on the ITV programme, writing: ‘That girl on @itvthismorning is beautiful.’

X Factor finalist Christopher Maloney is embracing the pop star lifestyle – by getting his first tattoo in memory of his dead grandfather.
Not one to play it safe the 34-year-old, who came third in last year’s X Factor decided to get a ‘sleeve’ to cover his entire left arm, complete with Bette Midler lyrics and a scroll banner of his audition date for the ITV show.
Although viewers may be familiar with the 34 year-old’s nan – a fixture in Maloney’s X Factor journey, the former cruise ship crooner decided on an original design to pay homage to his late grandad James ‘Jimmy’ O’Brien who died 17 years ago.

‘X Factor’ star Janet Devlin begins recording debut album – video
Janet Devlin has revealed that she has begun recording her debut album.
The 18-year-old singer has uploaded a video to her official YouTube channel entitled ‘Making of the Album – Day One’.
The clip opens with Devlin’s track ‘Wonderful’ and features footage of the teen in the studio.
“For me, today is a big day. It’s actually the first day of the official recording of my album,” she announces.
Producer James Jayawardena can then be seen explaining that the team are currently trying to turn “what are essentially songwriting demos … knocked together when writing” into a solid “sound” for the singer.

Until now, Simon Cowell has been successful in keeping details of X Factor: The Musical a closely guarded secret.
But I’ve learned details of the script — which is being written by comedian Harry Hill — and it is quite likely to offend current and former stars of the show.
The plot was unveiled to Cowell’s closest circle at a private afternoon read-through in London’s Soho last week.
Among the stars being targeted is Dermot O’Leary, the show’s presenter, whose character is portrayed as ‘pathetic and needy’.
There’s also a judge called Geordie, who spends most of her time sobbing into a Chelsea football jersey — a clear reference to former judge Cheryl Cole, who is from Newcastle and divorced from Chelsea ace Ashley Cole.
But former judges Sharon Osbourne and Dannii Minogue — an ex-flame of Cowell — do not feature at all and have been written out of X Factor history.
Instead the panel consists of actors playing Cowell and his pal Louis Walsh, as well as Geordie.
