The Sun’s Dan Wooton is on a roll. He reports Olly Murs and Caroline Flack are set to replace Dermot O’Leary.
Welp, The Sun’s Dan Wooton is now reporting that host Dermot O’Leary is leaving the X Factor UK after 8 years. He took over the job from Kate Thornton at the start of season 4 in 2007.

We’d like to thank Dermot for eight brilliant years at the helm of The X Factor.
He has been a fantastic host, masterfully keeping the show on the road, supporting the contestants throughout the competition and keeping the Judges in check. We will miss him (and his dance moves). We wish him all the best for the future.
An announcement on the host for the new series will be made in due course.
Sadz. Dermot is a brilliant host, but it looks like the show will got through some major changes and perhaps it was time for a fresh face to take over. Is Olly Murs available?
