For those of you following the X Factor UK the Unreality TV blog has posted spoilers. The Boot Camp shows kick off, which are basically the X Factor version of the Idol Hollywood rounds.
The auditioners get whittled down to 12: 3 groups, 3 over 30’s, 3 boys and 3 girls. Each group is assigned a mentor from the judges’ panel.
Each week, the contestant will work with their mentor on song selection, performance, clothing selection–the whole 9 yards. It is up to that mentor to not only help the contestant advance, but mold them into a viable recording artist.

I’m really surprised at the group Simon Cowell will be mentoring..
…because from what I understand, Louis Walsh often gets stuck with the groups. Last year, the groups were all voted off pretty fast.

I’m glad Matt Cardle made it through. He might end up being my favorite. And Storm Lee? Really? If Simon continues to mock him, it’ll be good TV…
