Marcus Canty told Billboard that not only does he plan to “keep R&B timeless” with This… Is Marcus Canty but also satisfy the ladies specifically. “At the end of the day, you have to make a woman feel special. So my music is geared towards the ladies obviously,” he said.
Indeed, the songs sound current, but definitely have an old school twist. The set includes Marcus’ first single “In and Out” feat. Wale. Check out Marcus on BET’s 106th & Park at New York City’s J&R Music World on Tuesday where he will perform “Used by You”.
