The Jennifer Lopez produced World of Dance is premiering Monday, May 8 from 10-11 p.m. and will move to Tuesdays at 10 p.m. starting May 30.

NBC has now revealed the 47 elite dance acts competing for a life-altering grand prize of $1 million and title of “Best in the World.” The 10-episode series will give dancers the platform to showcase their talents, led by a judging team of dance superstars — Jennifer Lopez (who also serves as an executive producer), Derek Hough, NE-YO and host/mentor Jenna Dewan Tatum.

Handpicked from qualifying events around the nation and thousands of online submissions, competitors are divided into three divisions: Junior (any size act, 17 years old and under), Upper (groups of 1-4, 18 and older) and Team (groups of 5+, 18 and older).

Some of the competitors should seem familiar. According to People magazine:

With an already-impressive resume under their belt, many of the groups have hit stardom level having worked with some of music’s biggest legends, such as group The Lab performing with Justin Bieber and Keone & Mari choreographing one of the pop star’s music videos, Parisian-born twin brothers Les Twins performing on stage alongside Jay-Z, Beyoncé and Missy Elliott, and the JabbaWockeeZ, who have amassed large success with their Las Vegas residency shows.

Additionally, So You Think You Can Dance season 10 co-winner, Fik-Shun is one of the competitors! And you may remember Miami All-Stars from America’s Got Talent. Also, before becoming a successful Las Vegas act, JabbaWockeeZ won the first season of MTV’s America’s Best Dance Crew, produced by Randy Jackson.

ETA: Also D’Angelo &Amanda won Pauler Abdul’s short-lived competition show Live to Dance and Super Cr3w won season 2 of America’s Best Dance Crew.
