Watch urban dance troupe Oxygen mesmerize the judges Ne-Yo, Jennifer Lopez and Derek Hough, from the upcoming episode of World of Dance.
“Satisfying!” shouts Jennifer as the group executes fluid and exquisitely timed moves to the hit song “Lovely” by Billie Eilish and Khalid during the WOD Qualifiers.
“Quality work,” Ne-Yo says afterward. The troupe notes after Derek asks that the dance is inspired by the traditional “Shiva” style. “But you’ve made me feel like I’ve never seen that before,” Derek says.
Jennifer admits that she tried something similar with her dancers but it was too difficult. “I couldn’t get my dancers to be that clean. That was awesome.”
The group, from Norway, admits that they achieve their precision moves though many hours of rehearsal. “We don’t sleep,” one admitted.
