Almost five years ago, Niall Horan performed on Saturday Night Live as part of the X Factor UK produced boy band One Direction. Last night (Dec 14), the singer returned to the NBC late night comedy show as a solo artist, appearing on a Christmas themed episode hosted by actress, Scarlett Johansson.
For his first number, Nial performed the electrified lead single off his upcoming debut studio album Nice To Meet Ya. Nial returned later in the show to sing a heartfelt piano ballad, “Put a Little Love on Me.” Check out both performances below.

Niall also appeared in a skit, “Hot Tub Christmas” In it, three ghosts (Scarlett Johansson, Niall Horan, Cecily Strong) who haunt a hot tub tell the story of how they died to a couple (Chris Redd, Ego Nwodim).
