Kelly Clarkson adds star of an animated feature to her long list of accomplishments. She plays the lead role in the upcoming movie Ugly Dolls. Today, the American Idol OG winner and The Voice coach just released the music video for the feature’s lead single “Broken & Beautiful.”
The video stars Kelly and her daughter River Rose who helps the singer get ready to take the stage. In the meantime, the animated character Kelly plays in the movie evades security to join an amused Kelly on stage.

Kelly Clarkson’s “Broken & Beautiful” from Ugly Dolls Out Now
Kelly told People magazine in a recent interview that “Broken & Beautiful” is “one of my favorite things that I’ve ever been able to record.” She added, “Pink wrote it and I’m a huge Pink fan.”
“There couldn’t have been a more perfect song written for the whole theme of this movie,” she continued. “And broken meaning not damaged, broken just meaning everybody’s under construction.”
“Broken & Beautiful’s” co-writer, producer Marshmello, is also featured in the clip as an animated character.
