Cade Foehner and Gabby Barrett married on Oct. 5. And while People magazine posted details and photos of the ceremony, the couple have now made their official wedding video available to fans.
The singers, who met while they competed as finalists on American Idol 2018, tied the knot in Garrison, Texas in front of 100 guests. The couple were engaged in March 2019 during a visit to Los Angeles, where Cade surprised Gabby with a ring.
“We wanted a small, intimate wedding with close friends and family,” Gabby told People ahead of the big day. “We can’t wait to have everyone we love under one roof to help send us off into this new season.”
The wedding took place at a rustic barn, with Jeremy Vuolo (the husband of Counting On star Jinger Duggar), marrying them. The couple wrote their own vows. Gabby was sure they both “absolutely” would cry during the ceremony.
In the 6 minute clip, the couples vows play against a backdrop of the two getting ready for the ceremony. Eventually, we see the couple walk down the aisle, along with the wedding party. The newly married couple kiss, after Vuolo pronounce them husband and wife.
The footage also features scenes from the wedding reception, including the first dance, cake cutting–all the stuff that happens at a wedding.
Here’s an excerpt from Gabby’s vows: “You have pledged to me your life and love, and so I too, gladly, give you mine. As we enter upon the privileges and joys of life’s most holy relationship, we begin the great adventure of building a Christian home. I will look to you as head of our home, as I have looked to Christ as head of his church.”
