The Voice 6 Top 12 contestant, Delvin Choice, was arrested for DUI on Sunday, according to Greenville News. The singer was arrested in Oconee county, South Carolina.
Choice, 25, of Simpsonville, was charged with driving under the influence, first offense, and booked into the Oconee County Detention Center at 4:11 a.m., according to a booking report and court records.
Records show he was released six hours later on a $1,229 personal recognizance bond.
Lance Cpl. Bill Rhyne said Monday that Choice was pulled over by a Highway Patrol trooper.
Coach Adam Levine chose Delvin after the singer auditioned with “A Song For You.” He prevailed through every round, even beating eventual winner, Josh Kaufman, in the second battle round (Josh was subsequently stolen by Usher). Delvin exited the competition at the Top 8.
