The first The Voice 6 promo, featuring hopefuls, is out. And we have a glimpse of our first experienced hopeful! Christina Grimmie is a Youtube star. She’s also released a couple of albums, toured with Selena Gomez, performed on The American Music Awards (Coca Cola Red Carpet Show) and Dancing with the Stars.
She also co-hosted a series of behind the scenes Youtube videos chronicling the American Idol season 11 summer tour released by Idol during the Season 11 summer tour.
No introduction to showbiz needed! Except that most of her big “gets” occurred in 2011, so this may be a case of a career that was once on un upward trajectory, losing steam. See: Cassadee Pope. The show got her career back on track, so why not. Right?
