Ouch! The Utopia premiere ratings have to be a disappointment for FOX. The two hour debut posted a 1.9 and over 4 million viewers. The show aired against veteran reality show, Big Brother, which featured the proposal of fan favorites Jeff and Jordan, and posted a 2.3 rating and over 7 million viewers, up from last week.
And it’s no wonder. The two hour premiere featured your typical reality show castmates with pronounced personality disorders going at each other nearly non-stop. YAY! It’s still good for Chris Daughtry that he snagged the theme song. FOX spent over 50 million to put Utopia on the air. They’re going to stick with it for the time being. The series moves to its permanent schedule, Tuesday and Friday, after this week.
