For those of you who care about this sort of thing? The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge aka Prince William and Princess Kate of the UK royal family, are expecting their second child.
The official announcement came this morning:
“Their Royal Highnesses The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are very pleased to announce that The Duchess of Cambridge is expecting their second child.
The Queen and members of both families are delighted with the news. “As with her first pregnancy, The Duchess is suffering from Hyperemesis Gravidarum [acute morning sickness]. Her Royal Highness will no longer accompany The Duke of Cambridge on their planned engagement in Oxford today.
“The Duchess of Cambridge is being treated by doctors at Kensington Palace.”
The new progeny will be third in line to Queen Elizabeth’s throne, behind grandfather Prince Charles, dad, Prince William and big brother George, who was born in July 2013.
Too bad the princess is suffering from morning sickness once again. While she was carrying Prince George, the sickness was so acute, she was admitted to the hospital before she was 8 weeks along.
