UPDATE: Full Official Schedule: American Idol 14 Schedule for 2015
Now you guys understand why I hesitated to post those schedule spoilers from The Idol Pad. Something about that schedule didn’t sit quite right with me.
The site has posted “changes” that include two weeks of semi-finals instead of three with both days of the first week labeled “Top 24” and the second week marked for two days of eliminations. The rest of the schedule is filled in as “finals.” Very generic.
2/25 Top 24 – Boys
2/26 Top 24 – Girls3/4 Top 24 – Eliminations #1
3/5 Top 24 – Eliminations #2
At this point, I’m waiting for American Idol to confirm the final schedule, and will consider these spoilers as interesting information that may or may not come to pass. According to the schedule FOX sent out just last week, America votes for the first time on February 25th. So, we’ll see.
Also this is confirmed: American Idol is set to film shows on February 19, March 3 and March 5 at 2:30 pm in Detroit. Considering the times–2:30 pm, none of these are live shows. It appears that American Idol will film the semi-finals in Detroit, as TIP reported, but it’s not really clear how it’s all going to work. Stay tuned.
