Tuesday Ratings: Big Year to Year Drop for Glee

Ratings are in from TVByTheNumbers:

CBS and Fox split the night’s honors and were tied with adults 18-49. Fox led with adults 18-34 and CBS won with total viewers.

NCIS’s 3.5 adults 18-49 rating was even with its last original all the way back on November 22. NCIS: Los Angeles averaged a 3.0 adults 18-49 rating, also even with its last original on November 22. Still, those results tie season lows with adults 18-49 for both shows (though NCIS: LA had its best total audience numbers since its premiere). Unforgettable was down a tenth from its last original to a 2.1 adults 18-49 rating, a season/series low.

Glee and New Girl were each down a tenth from last Tuesday’s final numbers to 2.9 and 3.3 adults 18-49 ratings respectively (note, last week Glee wass adjusted up a tenth in the finals). Raising Hope was up a tenth from last week to a 2.3 adults 18-49 rating.

Just for fun, last year’s Glee Christmas special, which aired a week earlier on December 7, earned a 4.2 rating and 10.73M viewers. (Via TVByTheNumbers). It beat NCIS in the demo quite handily.
