American Idol season 9 alum and YouTube sensation, Todrick Hall, has landed a reality show on MTV.
Produced by manager, Scooter Braun, Todrick will focus on the singer, behind the scenes, as he writes, produces and choreographs his weekly viral videos. The show will also put a spotlight on the crew as they manage side jobs to pay the bills as they fulfill their dreams.
The series has an initial 8 half hour episode order. Todrick joins fellow season 9 contestant, Katie Stevens at MTV. She stars in the network’s scripted hit, Faking It, which just had it’s second season order expanded.
Todrick excitedly announced the big news this morning via his YouTube channel. Typical of Todrick, the announcement is quite the production. Simon Cowell even makes a cameo!
Thank you so much to @scooterbraun and the rest of my @SBProjectsTeam family. You guys have changed this Texas boys life forever!
