A The Voice alum has hit the news for going too far on stage.
Sophia Urista, a former Burlesque performer who wound up on Team Miley Cyrus on The Voice season 11 pulled down her pants and peed on an audience member during a concert last Thursday.
And now, the singer, who fronts Brass Against, a band that performs brass versions of heavy metal songs, is apologizing.

She took to Instagram yesterday (Nov 16) to write: “Hey everyone. I want to speak to my performance at Rockville metal festival in Daytona. I have always pushed the limits in music and on stage. That night, I pushed the limits too far. I love my family, the band, and the fans more than anything and I know that some were hurt or offended by what I did. I apologize to them and want them to know that I didn’t mean to hurt them. I am not a shock artist. I always want to put the music first. I’m grateful for all of your continued love and support.”
It took Sophia five days to say something about the incident. But her band wasted NO TIME apologizing for what happened. “We had a great time last night at Welcome to Rockville. Sophia got carried away,” the band’s tweet read. “That’s not something the rest of us expected, and it’s not something you’ll see again at our shows. Thanks for bringing it last night, Daytona.”

The whole incident is captured on video, and it’s pretty gross. she’s aiming for a can set on a prone man’s forehead. She pulls down her pants, aims and misses. The pee ends up all over the dude’s face.
Sophia had grabbed a bottle of water declaring that the show would be closed out with her relieving herself on an audience member after she drank it all.
“Get my man with the can on his head ready, ’cause we’re going to bring him onstage and I’ma piss in this motherf—–’s mouth,” she said.
A few minutes later, the man climbed on stage with the empty can attached to his forehead. He laid down on his back, then Sophia straddled his head, pulled her pants down and attempted to pee in the can. Attempt is the operative word here.
When she finished, the man scooped some of the liquid on stage into his hands and threw it out over the audience. Sophia pulled up her pants while shouting for security to get him “the f— out of here.” I won’t embed the video. But if you are curious, watch it HERE.

On The Voice 11 in the fall of 2016, Sophia auditioned with the Beatles “Come Together” prompting chair turns from Alicia Keys and Miley Cyrus. Sophia chose Team Miley and she remained a member until her elimination at the Playoffs.
Sundance Head won the season, with Billy Gilman as the runner-up.
