RaeLyn lost her record deal with Big Machine Label group earlier this year. At the time, she didn’t seem too troubled. And it’s no wonder, because merely a few months later, she’s got a new deal!

The Voice season 2 alum has signed with Warner Music Nashville, the label home of her coach, Blake Shelton.

The singer inked her new record deal on Tuesday in front of a room full of people, including Blake, at Aurora Studio in Nashville. RaeLynn played new music including her upcoming single “Love Triangle,” which the Tennessean describes as an “aching ballad told from the perspective of a child who is caught in the middle of her parent’s divorce.”

“We couldn’t be one iota happier to have RaeLynn join the Warner Brothers family,” said Warner Music Nashville Chairman and CEO John Esposito. “There is a magic about this gal that when she walks in the room, you know she’s special. Let’s never forget that it is those people with the fairy dust who have been sprinkled on them, that’s who we want to be involved with in our lives because they can change other people’s lives.”

After she signed her contract, RaeLynn told The Tennessean she had been a free agent since April and had been working on her album the way she wanted to make it for the last two months.

“We made the record and then we pitched it to a couple of labels,” RaeLynn said. “I’m so happy to now be on Warner. It’s been a long time coming. Today is a really special day for me. They’ve always treated me like family. It’s like family you’ve always known.”

Good for Raelynn getting back up on her feet so quickly.
