The Voice’s Cassadee Pope Announces ‘Rise and Shine’ Acoustic Album

The Voice season 3 winner Cassadee Pope has announced that a new acoustic album Rise and Shine, will be released on August 7. The first two tracks off the album “Let Me Go” and “Built This House” will drop this Friday, June 26.

For the country singer, the eight song set will be the first time she has had a hand in writing all of the songs. It’s also the first time she has served as co-producer on a project.

Rise and Shine is a collection of songs that talk about where I’ve been and where I’m headed,” Cassadee says. “I wanted people to hear these in their purest form so I went with a more stripped back sound that really lets the lyrics stand out. My hope is that these songs help aid people into feeling every emotion they need to let out.”

A new lyric video for “Let Me Go,” comes out on Thursday June 25. Cassadee will also host a Virtual Release Party via Looped. The event will begin Thursday at 7:30 PM CT with a performance and Q&A with ABC’s Stephen Hubbard. Afterward, Cassadee will host a Virtual Meet and Greet with fans from 8:20 PM-9:20 PM CT. Tickets will be available Tuesday 6/23 at 9 AM CT. Set a reminder.
