Dang. That was a short engagement. Representatives for The Voice season 3 winner Cassadee Pope and All Time Low drummer, Rian Dawson have confirmed the couple’s split. From Nashville Gab:
Country artist and Grammy nominee, Cassadee Pope, and All Time Low drummer, Rian Dawson, have amicably ended their longtime relationship. Their representative has confirmed “they have amicably ended their relationship, but remain friends, supportive of each others’ careers, and maintain the utmost respect for one another.” Pope and Dawson began dating in 2009 when Pope was touring with former band, Hey Monday, and Dawson was out on the road with his band, All Time Low.
The pair announced their engagement in February of this year. “The love of my life is now officially the love of my life,” wrote Rian on his Instagram when the couple jointly announced the news.
“We’re Engaged!” Gushed Cassadee on her account. Two ambitious artists pursuing separate music careers? That was never going to be easy. At least they’re still friends.
