The Voice’s Addison Agen Starts Kickstarter Campaign to Fund New Music

Addison Agen, the runner-up and Team Adam Levine member from season 13 has begun a kickstarter. It’s only been 4 days, and the singer is over half way to her $30,000 goal. Check out her Kickstarter page page and pledge HERE.

The Fort Wayne, Indiana singer/songwriter thrilled The Voice audiences with covers of “She Used to Be Mine” and Joni Mitchell’s Both Sides Now.” Addison came in 2nd place to Chloe Kohanski in the Fall 2017 The Voice cycle.

“Two years ago in December, I came home to Fort Wayne, Indiana after finishing in 2nd place on NBC’s The Voice. My life changed completely, and I wasn’t sure what was next,” Addison wrote on he Kickstarter page, “I jumped right into recording an album before I even had time to process everything from the past year of my life. The music wasn’t ready, and neither was I. Long story short, I decided not to release the album.

“Since then, I wrote an entire new album, and I’m so excited to share it with you,” Addison continued, “It’s a collection of songs woven together with themes of nostalgia, acceptance, hopefulness and joy. Also, I have the privilege to record this album with Producer and Engineer, Joe Hettinga, and a band of crazy talented musicians that I get to call my friends.”

The perks include $15 for a digital copy. $25 for a CD and Digital copy, plus posters, t-shirts and stickers depending on the level.

When Addison hit $12,000, she dropped an acoustic version of her Blind Audition song “Jolene” by Ray Lamontagne.

“Hey everyone, yesterday we passed $12,000 on Kickstarter! WOOHOO! WHAT? INSANE! So you all voted and here is a cover of “Jolene” – my blind audition song from The Voice!,” Addison wrote on social media. “Thank you so much for being a part of my journey and sticking with me.”
