The Voice winner Jordan Smith dropped by NBC’s Today show on Monday to promote his debut album, Something Beautiful, which is currently No. 3 on the iTunes all-genre chart. As an aside, those of you who watched The Passion Live on FOX Sunday night saw TWO advertising spots for the album! Republic Records seems to be trying to make The Voice winner happen this go around.
The singer performed the album’s lead single, “Stand in the Light.”
Later, on the Hoda and Kathy hour, Jordan performed the classic “Over The Rainbow,” making some rather, uhm, interesting melodic choices.
In a brief interview Jordan chatted about life beyond The Voice and his engagement and impending marriage to his long-time girlfriend.
