Lately, we’ve seen photos of The Voice winner Chris Blue and his mentor, Alicia Keys. And it turns out she’s helping her charge in a big way. Alicia is serving as his manager and helping to produce the singer’s debut album.
“She’s had her hand in everything, to be honest,” he said in an interview on ET Live. “We’re writing together, she’s producing, I’m trying to get her on a track — we’ll see what happens. But I won’t complain! She’s producing, she’s writing, I’m good with that.” Chris and Alicia are ready to go back into the studio in a couple of weeks. Also, there’s a good chance he’ll be moving to Los Angeles.
Pretty impressive. Remember, Chris was the very last singer to turn during the season 12 Blind Auditions last spring. Alicia was the only coach with a spot open. She liked what she heard, and the rest was history.
