Last night’s The Voice featured six more Blind Auditions. The south ruled. Three contestants hailed from Texas, two from Tennessee and one from Georgia. The show is still leaning on the “Adam Levine can’t land a contestant” narrative, but he did manage to snag DeAndre Nico, a four chair turn. Nevertheless, 3 chair turn Michael Lee was the star of the night. Jennifer Hudson even through a shoe. But in the end, unsurprisingly, Michael chose Blake Shelton.
For her part, Kelly Clarkson snagged another young female singer, 17 year old Clare DeJean. A running gag last night had Kelly visiting “the hall of Voice winners” where her portrait was recently hung. Look, here she is drawing funny things on Blake’s portrait. He’s the winningest Voice coach EVAH
