The second night of The Voice season 13 blind auditions featured impressive performances from Keisha Renae and Ashland Craft. Both singers consider themselves artists in the country lane. Keisha, a soulful pop country performer chose Team Blake Shelton while Ashland, a singer with an old school country folk vibe picked Team Miley Cyrus.
And there you have one of the major narratives for the season: Miley Cyrus attempting to position herself as a country coach on The Voice. In a broader sense, Miley is furthering her pursuit to rebrand her image from wild child to grounded hippie chick.
