The Voice season 12 Knockouts are complete, and finally we get to the LIVE SHOWS. The Playoffs begin next week. And as we already reported. REAL TIME VOTING HAS RETURNED. It won’t be as frantic as the twenty singers in 2 hours deal that went down last fall. Two teams will perform on each night. Viewers will vote via Voice App and Twitter, choosing two singers from each team to advance. The respective coach will choose one. At the end of next Tuesday’s (April 18) show, the Top 12 finalists will be revealed.

As far as tonight’s last Knockout episode is concerned: My favorite performance, hands down was Vanessa Ferguson’s (Team Alicia Keys) raw rendition of “If I Were Your Woman.” She’s the real deal. My second favorite was “Chandelier” from Team Gwen’s powerful Troy Ramey. Team Blake Shelton’s Caroline Sky was kind of robbed? I thought she was way better than fifteen year old Aliyah Moulden. But Blake loves personality driven artists. (See: RaeLynn). I’m not surprised he kept her.
Also turning out good performances were Team Gwen Stefani’s Brandon Royal and Stephanie Rice, also Team Adam Levine’s Jesse Larson.
