The Voice 10 Knockout Rounds begin on Monday 3/28, with Miley Cyrus as key adviser. The “Wrecking Ball” singer’s stint will be a little preview of what’s to come when she joins Alicia Keys, Blake Shelton and Adam Levine on the season 11 coaches panel in September!
Watch as Miley gives Team Pharrell Williams member, Hannah Huston, vocal and performance tips on “House of the Rising Sun.” The school teacher is set to face off against Malik Heard for a spot in the Top 20 and the opportunity to compete for America’s vote in the LIVE Playoffs.
After the mentoring session, we see Hannah’s bold vocal performance. It’s impressive, but she needs to do something about those flappy hands. Heh.

Also from Team Pharrell, by way of a Team Christina Aguilera steal, Shalyah Fearing delivers a rousing and soulful performance of the country hit “Broken Wing,” by Martina McBride. The young singer will compete for a spot in the Top 20 and Live Playoffs against Emily Keener who sat in the corner and watch after having already performed. It’s hard to imagine Pharrell letting go of Shalyah after that, but stranger things have happened on The Voice.
