The Voice: Blake Shelton, Gwen Stefani Duet, Andy Samberg and More Guest

Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton The Voice

Blake Shelton, Gwen Stefani, Florida-Georgia Line, James Bay, Andy Samberg Set for The Voice May 9 and 10

Next week’s The Voice is chock full of special guests. On Monday May 9 live episode (8 p.m. ET/PT), it’s the highly anticipated (well, for those addicted to E Online and US Magazine) duet between real-life romantic couple coach Blake Shelton and former coach Gwen Stefani singing “Go Ahead and Break My Heart.” This song is part of Blake’s new album, If I’m Honest, which is due out May 20.

“This is one of my favorite songs I’ve ever written or recorded,” said Blake. “It came from a time and place when Gwen and I were beginning our journey together and both experiencing a hard time letting our guards down with each other. The song couldn’t possibly be more honest. I’m honored to have written and to perform this song with the great Gwen Stefani. Respect.”

Also on the May 9 live show, the country duo Florida Georgia Line will perform their new single, “H.O.L.Y.,” off their third studio album, Dig Your Roots, due out later this summer.

Then on Tuesday, May 10 (8-9 p.m. ET/PT), award-winning international rock star James Bay will join the lineup “The Voice. Bay, who received three Grammy Award nominations this year, including Best New Artist, will perform “Let It Go” from his debut album, Chaos and the Calm. “Let It Go” is currently in the Top 20 at Top 40 radio and is continuing to climb the charts.

Also on Tuesday, pop superstar Conner4Real, [Andy Samberg taking on a Chris Gaines like persona. The NBC press release never mentions Samberg–treating “Conner” as if he were a real person] from the new Universal comedy Popstar: Never Stop Never Stopping, takes the stage to perform his hit song “I’m So Humble” alongside Voice coach Adam Levine, who also makes an appearance in the film. Fun Fact: There are many cameos in this film, including Carrie Underwood and Simon Cowell.

The film, a mockumentary, goes behind the scenes as singer/rapper Conner4Real faces a crisis in popularity after his sophomore album flops.
