Adam Levine was honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on Friday (Feb 10). His family, including wife Behati Prinsloo and baby Dusty Rose were in attendance.
“I have a daughter, I have the most beautiful wife in the entire world,” The Voice coach and Maroon 5 frontman said during the ceremony. “I’m one of the luckiest people who’s ever lived and it has nothing to do with me, it has to do with the people who love me the most. And so I thank all of those people.”
“This is crazy – I’m not gonna downplay and pretend that it’s not the coolest thing ever that this is happening,” a humbled Adam also said.
Good friend and Voice mentor, Sammy Hagar and fellow The Voice coach and “frenemy” Blake Shelton spoke a few words before Adam took the stage to accept a plaque.
“Imagine my disappointment when I found out that this isn’t a roast,” Blake joked, before he went on to compliment his The Voice arch nemesis. “If you would have told me then that this guy was going to end up being one of my best friends,” he said about the day he met Adam at the first The Voice production meeting, “I would’ve called you crazy.”
Fellow The Voice coach and Blake gal pal Gwen Stefani sat next to Adam’s wife during the ceremony, and joined the others on stage for photos. The day’s scene stealer? Adam’s 4 month old daughter, Dusty.
